Rewrite using show not tell.

The old house had been empty for years.

The cottage sat at the end of a long winding drive way all lonely nothing surronding it.The stench made me gag immediatley,the curtains were covered in mould,the floor boards creaked with every step and the doors were falling down.I could hear rats playing in the walls it was as if it had been abandoned.

Morning routine

Turn off my alarm

Go on my phone

Get up

Make my bed

Get dressed

Do my hair

Make my lunch

Eat breakfast

Pack my bag

Brush my teeth

Put my shoes on

Leave

PAST

I hear my alarm and reach across and turn it off.I grab my phone and scroll through it for about 5 minutes.I get up and make my bed.I then get dressed for the day and do my hair.I then go out to the kitchen and make my lunch.I eat breakfast then pack my bag.I brush my teeth and put my shoes on.I then leave for school.

PRESENT

yesterday my alarm went off and reached across and turned it off.I grabbed my phone and scrolled through it for about 5 minutes.I had got up and made my bed.I then got dressed for the day and did my hair.I went out to the kitchen and made my lunch.I ate breakfast then packed my bag.I brushed my teeth and put my shoes on.After i left for school.

FUTURE

Tomorrow my alarm will go off and i will reach across and grab it.I will then go on it for 5 minutes.Next i will get up and make my bed.I will be getting my hair done then walking to the kitchen making my lunch and i will have breakfast.I will brush my teeth,put my shoes on.My dad will drive me to school.
